I took my car in to the dealership to get a problem with my key-remote functionality sorted out, and while I was there there were some guys from Hyundai head office.
They told me there is a recall on the i20 accelerator cables, and they asked if I would mind having it changed while I was there. It was done in around 20 minutes, so not much hassle, and it fell under the warranty so no payment was necessary. Has anyone else heard about this recall? If so, why are these cables being recalled? My car was bought just under a month ago (early July 2010) in South Africa. |
