lol Ok my title is just cause I am bored, but I just realized wow Hyundai copy the Dash board of the Seat Leon haha, I can't believe how bluntly they did that ! WOW Hyundai, Well all I got to say is I don't care cause I love the interior of my Elantra , but I wish Hyundai could had copycat the Jaguar XE front end onto the Elantra cause I think the headlamps look similar, of course I think the Jaguar XE copy the BMW 3 for the head lamps/ I love the front bumper on the Jaguar XE, I think that design would look good on the Elantra .

I never understood why people care if cars look alike, I mean **** a pair of jeans will look a like , bicycles all look alike. **** if it gets me a good looking car at half the price of a BMW or Jaguar , I can proclaim no shame in my game for wanting Hyundai to bluntly copy some nice looking cars.

**** I am willing to bet Hyundai has better dependability then both and only for half the price. ****, I think they should use the Elantra as a starting point for a small Genesis !

Also, I cant say the name for the devils home, so when you see the blanks, now you know what I was saying LOL:harhar::harhar:

All car companies "copy" each other. I believe people have a bias on Hyundai because they are not Japanese and they are still new players in an already flooded market. People say some models copy Audi design even though the cars were designed by the same person who designed Audi's. LOL people are idiots.

Seat is basically a German design even though it is Spanish; the interior of the Hyundai are German-inspired design. To no surprised, maybe it does look like a Seat, but the Hyundai and Seat look like a VW interior. Get it?

P.S. I'm pretty sure this is a troll thread but I replied anyway. Moderators, do what you gotta do.

DOT sets the standards for that crushing throwaway unibody so whether you buy the cheapest base model or a Caddy or a Lexus, the bodies are all the same. First time I opened the hood on the Elantra saw a radiator cap and all neoprene coolant lines on it with spring clamps. Was sold almost instantly.

In other sites, trying to find a locking gas cap, ha, one key fits all, can't siphon gas out of these things, but sure can pour nasty stuff in the tank, like sugar that will seize an engine in a hurry. Having great looking daughters in high school or college can be a problem if they won't go out with some jerk.

Hyundai is using galvanized sheet metal, others are dipping sheet metal in primer, this list goes on and on. Ha, pushed a button on my steering wheel yesterday, GPS popped up on the center screen, just finding all new kinds of toys to play with. No dealer installed options was a huge selling point for me.

This is not a photo of ours, but might as well be, except for the view through the windshield, replace those mountains with trees. The steering wheel, gearshift lever, accelerator, and brake pedal is where you would expect it to be. Sure owned a heck of a lot more vehicles without a center console than with one.

Not very convenient for taking a sweet young thing to a drive-in theater, but those are history now. Compared to my Cruze, the view of that analog speedometer is a lot nicer, had to move my head to see the one on the Cruze, but sure similar to my Supra, also has a 160 mph range, but it will do 160 mph easy, doubt if the Elantra would go this fast. Not easy to drive at 25 mph using the analog, so kind of worthless when you have the digital.

Some things about the Cruze I like better, could display just speed or speed instant mph, and miles remaining. also showed the preset speed for the cruise.

Fro years GM put the cruise set button at the end of he directional signal lever, drove us crazy at first, because on the Cruze that was the reset button for the DIC with knob on it for selecting trip or maintenance displays. Headlamp switch was on the dash, on the Elantra on the directional signal lever. But both were always in auto mode. Cruze had cruise on the left hand side, just the opposite on the Elantra.

Windshield wiper lever on the right side is the same, but the one on my Supra can drive me nuts. Has knobs on it for either the delay, rear windshield wiper, and three more for cleaner spray for either the headlamps, windshield, or rear window, but speeds like other vehicles are moving that lever up and down.

In terms of DIC displays, like the Elantra, really a high res screen, and also in color for GPS or selecting music.

Ha, with the Elantra, took me about a month not to pull the keys out of my pocket, but won't work with my other vehicles. Have to stay awake.
