Looks good. Now you need to match the lower plastic grill with the same style.

I'm not a fan of "mods". To me, most mods are an eyesore. Someone hangs some garbage on their car and drives down the street thinking they're looking cool as ****, while onlookers are pointing, laughing and wondering what on this earth made them do that to that poor car. My take on the first picture you posted in this thread was hideous.
That said, it looks really good on "your" car. Put it on a different color car and I'm back to hideous. An impeccably clean car is the best mod out there.

To each his own, if you're happy looking just like the other person that bought a car also.. with nothing unique about you to stand out. Sounds pretty boring.

I like the grill.. I say leave the emblem off. It might be a little bit better if the pattern was tighter or had another layer of hex under it.. not sure... but I like it.

Where'd you get it?

I got it off ebay. One of the screw bosses broke off when I was installing it. The seller refunded me $100 today for that which was awesome because as most of you know there are way more clips and screws on the grill than are necessary.
I despise driving stock vehicles. I need to customize everything i own at least a little to make it my own and different from everyone else. That being said I don't want some cheap stick on crap. I have gotten a ton of compliments from people this week on the grill. I can't believe how many people noticed it and came to me about it. I am not sure if I will put the "H" back on there or not. If I do I will sandblast off the chrome so the paint stick better next time.

I read right past where you said you got it on ebay... duh.

How well did it fit?

I got an upper radiator grill for my Elantra that fit like total crap (there's a thread with pictures) from China and it went in the trash. Got another one that fit better, but not perfect, so I've wondered if things made overseas are for their vehicle markets that might be slightly/moderately different than in the US/North America.

I wouldn't be able to do this to my wife's Tucson but if I ended up getting a Tucson of my own I would be looking to do this mod. But with the DCT and now what I've found to be poor FM radio reception, I don't know if I could get a Tucson.... that's off topic though.

I like the grill as well. Please understand that I have a somewhat skewed opinion. I'm 61 and retired 5 years ago. My wife bought this car because she liked the Tucson her 84 year old mother has You can hang any accoutrement of your choice on this car and it's still a Grandma grocery car. Granted, it's comfortable and nicely equipped for this price range, but attempting to stand out in the crowd of Grandma cars is silly.

I can understand your thoughts there, however I would hope that my Tucson now does not look like something your grandma would drive.

I did have a funny thought though after reading your post. Since you have now dismissed the Tucson as a grandma car because she owns one. That same logic automatically makes the Corvette a "grandpa car" because the median age of a Corvette buyer is now 61 years old (Google search).

Both grills look awesome!
How difficult is it to swap out the grills/take off the grill in general?
I'm hoping to take my grill off to plastip matte black, but intimidated by the thought of doing it.
I'd prefer to take the grill off and plastidip rather than chance getting any overspray into the radiator.
