2017 Cargo door opening by itself

Hey guys, my trunk door keeps opening by itself.
I got a 2017 Tucson Limited with the ultimate package.

I noticed that in the past five months or so, w/o me doing anything it just opens.
Last night I came home and I used my other vehicle (2017 Honda CRV) so I never touched the remote control. The cargo area was closed.
This morning I noticed that it was open, probably the entire night.
I'm very concern because some times I keep an expensive viola in there (my kid's).

And I'm positive I never touched the remote control, furthermore, I even disable the sensor, the one that opens the cargo door when you stand in front of it.

Any body else with the same issue?

Thanks in advance

hmm.. see if something is triggering the anti-close mechanism on it? like is the cargo area loaded with stuff that it thinks it'll close shut on/etc so it keeps re-opening maybe?

Do you have the auto-open feature enabled. If you have the doors locked, and the fob in your pocket and walk up to the back of the car the hatch should open after a couple of beeps.

There's another thread on it here. I've had this happen to me at least 4 times now, but I know that it is the button being pressed while it is in my pocket.

Did you get this issue resolved? It happened to me until I disabled the auto open feature.

Is there a way to disable the button on the key remote from opening the cargo door? I also have the same issue of the button getting pressed while I'm in the house and find my cargo door open in the morning.

Or a way to program the remote by pressing the button twice?
I had a two way remote starter that I'd programmed by pressing it twice to start the engine, so I wonder if there is a way to do something similar.

The remote control has been on a wall, just hanging when I had those issues. I had a Honda remote control next to it, but that's it.

I haven't found a solution yet but I'll open a case with Hyundai the next time the issue arise.

Garage
I've had it happen in both the Tucson and my Elantra. I believe the button is just getting pressed by accident at time. Lucky they both sleep in the garage at night.

2014 Elantra Sport 2.0 6M Shimmering Silver. LED interior lights, cargo mat and net. 35/20% tint. LED tag and back up lights. LED fogs. LED headlights, homelink.
2016 Tucson Sport 1.6T 7A Caribbean Blue. Hitch, tint, mudguards, homelink, cargo cover, LED back up and tag lights, power pass seat lumbar installed, LED fogs, aftermarket crossbars for the roof.
