Moisture in License Plate Lights

Hi all,

I'm noticing moisture in the license plate lights on my 2016 Tucson. It's not full of water but there is a lot of moisture.

I've removed the assy and cannot find any holes or places to let moisture in and it does seem air tight when to try to blow into it.

Anyone else having the same issue?

TIA

Greg

My area just had some massive rain and I was out in the Tucson. I have no moisture. I wouldn't even investigate it further with warranty in play. Make them waste their time.

Hi all,

It's been nearly 12 months since I've posted this thread and I'm wondering if anyone else has had an issue with moisture getting into the license plate lights on their Tucson.

TIA

Greg

No issues with mine either.

Did you ever take it back to Hyundai so they could look at it?

It's been raining here a lot lately. Just checked ours and it's dry. What did the dealer have to say?

Dealer has submitted a warranty claim and now waiting to hear from Hyundai. Unfortunately I waited 12 months until my 15K service to notify the dealer, should have done it sooner.

Haha...that's why Midwest suggested it a year ago.
