Ok. So I have been looking all through the internet, all though my owners manual, and I have even been into 3 different auto store franchises. But I cant find what size headlights my 2016 hyundai tucson eco uses. Does anyone know what size bulb I need to buy to replace my OEM bulbs? Thank you!

H11 I think

Hi Huntley, I came to this forum to find the same information. There is another forum thread that suggests that the Low Beam is an H11. As for the High Beam, I have not found this information yet. I think the thread title is something about Low Beam HID's or something.

Good Luck!

all markets have H7, there is no H11 on tucson.Second, don't waste your money and get LED bulbs, it won't work and you can't drive with these LED bulbs....

Totally untrue statement. I have LED's in the factory projectors in my Elantra and they are fantastic. Excellent output.

I've since changed the LED's in the fogs to match color.

I'll be putting a set in the Tucson projectors in the future.

Yesterday I have replaced the h7 halogen bulbs in the high beams of a TLe version of Tucson with these ones.

2015 New 40W 5000LM H7 Cree/PHILIP LED Headlight Kit Car Driving Lamp Bulbs 6000K White H1 H3 H11 9006-in Light Source from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

make sure to order the Philips Luxeon MZ chip for the high beam !

They are only 2500 "Chinese" lumens which is rather lower than a HID would output, but easier to install, you don`t have to cut anything and the heat output is marginal. I wanted to tape the whole inside with aluminum tape, which came out to be unnecessary. Also you don`t need to use a warning canceler resistor.

First impression is really great. Not as strong as a HID on my dads Ford Kuga but, it is a very pleasant light that does shine in a much wider spectrum, the objects lit by LED are more naturally colored and it does not strain your eyes like HIDs. And in a year or two there will be a replacement bulb with even higher output and higher energy efficiency.

I am not sure about led in low beams, my TLe version came with double LED projector headlighs for the low beam. If the low beam is a h7 there should be no problem, if there is enough space to install. I don`t think I can answer your question, maybe someone else on the forum who actually swapped the bulbs will give you a more detailed answer.

ah, ok...I thought TLe in your region came with halogens in both low and high beams. Semco, who is by far better expert in this field than me, says LEDs don't work, but I still don't understand why. If it works in the high beams it should also work in the lows, as well.
Fitting in LEDs, seems like a much easier job than fitting HIDs, that's why I am insisting on LEDs :p

Check the link on post #20 . That's the style I used for each (fogs are 881's). And yes, that is what I'll put in the Tucson.

Originally I installed a different set in the fogs, they were only rated at 750 lumens and too blue for my taste. Once I installed the headlights and saw the color was whiter, I put a set in the fogs and I can actually tell when they are on now.

Like everyone know Almost all HIDs and LEDs do come out of the same factory with different names.

A very good example is Krish just send an Ali Express Link where the LED costs $ 45

2015 New 40W 5000LM H7 Cree/PHILIP LED Headlight Kit Car Driving Lamp Bulbs 6000K White H1 H3 H11 9006-in Light Source from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

and Solaman send a very same item for $ 80

but i will try out this LED in my High beam. We here in middle east very rarely use the High beam and mostly only to flash the car in front to give way.

@navein the install is super easy. takes up 5 minutes of your time, if you don`t waste time with aluminum taping the inside of the cover, like I did... that was totally unnecessary, cause after 10 minutes of the high beams on you can hold the heath sink belt in your hands...

Before I could install these bulbs (Osram Rallye 65w Ultra High Output H7) I sold my 2016 ECO. Have used this type of bulb before. 50% increase in lumens. For more info pm me.

I'm currently running hid in my 2016 tucson eco... I'm having lots of trouble blowing the bulbs or the decoders. Has anyone installed these on a U.S. eco and what adapters did you use for the low beams? I have the recommended adapters for the hid install but I'm fairly certain that they are not going to be compatible with the led headlights. This has got to be the worst design I've ever seen and they should have built them just like the high beams with the clips.
