If you have a lovely wife, sexy hot lover, cool car, no problems with the government and revenue authorities, and when you go out the sun always shines and all passers smile to you - common dude, say NO to drugs!

Let us know how well they work. I've considered these for the Elantra and the Tucson. Aftermarket kits have had past issues and wonder how these hold up long term.

Go to the breakers yard and get a couple of some old VWs. The hood on VWs is supported by a single strut, so two should easily hold up even the Tucson hood.

I know it will hold it up, but these hoods are not designed for it. Plus I have concerns with the struts they use for these. As stated, I'm also interested in them as my car that was totaled last year had them and I miss the feature.
