Still winter time here. My daily commute consists of driving through neighborhoods with all stop & go traffic. I started off around like mid 25's for the tank & I just filled up & got a little over 27mpg. When I. Fill up, I wait for the pump to stop. Then I go slowly & can usually fill it another almost 1 1/2 gallons before it starts coming out. Then i drive until it is time to refuel again & fill it up. In the same manner & this is how I figure out the supposed mileage. So this last time was a little over 27mpg for the tank. That's pretty darn good considering the weather we are having can be brutally cold. Waiting for the companies to switch to the summer blend & then see what i can get. Im just happy overall with this vehicle. No if I could just get some extra power, I'd be set! Hopefully the more it breaks in the better the mileage.
I'm getting between 23 to 27 MPG in my AWD Limited. If I do a lot of stop and go driving in the city, I am more likely to get the lower number. I typically get something around the higher number.
I'm averaging around 25/27 mpg on my daily commute which is half freeway half back roads. Overall, I'm pleased with the results for an AWD sport utility.
I drive about 10 miles each way to and from work. Mostly back roads with handful of lights and stop signs. LOTS of hills though.
Right now, I'm averaging about 26/27. Before winter and before the transmission update, the highest number I got was 32, but averaged around 29/30. Hoping to get back to that after it warms up.
Id not agree on that. Pump pressures the gas out of tank strong enough, so your get lots of air inside right away, which shut offs the gun as there is now ay to get air out of your tank. If you do pumping slow by your hand, you will get more gas and also, there is nothing wrong to add few more gallons after shut off...I do it constantly.
Pump pressure has nothing to do with it. Might want to do some research. It can damage the EVAP system and that is a very costly repair. Topping off over pressurizes the tank and guess where it sends it, through the EVAP system.
Wrong! Several yrs ago I did a filling all the way to the top-beyond the auto shut off. The next thing I know my gas gauge no longer worked. Went to dealer who repaired --under warranty. New gauge needed. I don't do that any more. Would have been an expensive repair.
