The storage tray I ordered from Korea arrived today, exactly 2 weeks from when I ordered it to New Jersey. It's made from thick plastic and is not flimsy at all. It fits in the console fine with the front lip over hanging the edge slightly. From the pictures you can see the front lip has a little chin of plastic on it, this 1/8" of plastic prevents the top from latching. I simply took my Dremel with a cut off wheel and less then 60 seconds later it fits like a glove, top latches. I'll post more pictures tomorrow after I sand the cut edge a little bit to smooth it out perfectly.
There is no other lip for the tray to sit on but the inside of the console has a slight taper to it so it fits flush with the top of the bin.
Thank you for these images, but that lip isn't supposed to hang over the front edge of the bin like that, at least not per the images on the ebay seller's product page. If you got it to work for by doing this - kudos to you! I think I'm going to wait to see how others fair with making it work in their US Tucsons.
I know something's better than nothing, but I want to be sure it's really going to work before ordering. Returning something to Korea isn't something I want to have to do if it doesn't work out like it should based on the seller's own images. Thanks again though!!
