Got cargo cover from our local dealer where I got our tucson, cheaper if I would order it from china/korea.
Nice touch, nothing can be seen now...
Cargo Net is from some old car we had before, now even can't recall it...seems to be from old rav4...installs in sec like an original. My wife loved it, so here you go...
can't see the pic though. Also- what about covering for front grill? Is it worth the cost? I also want to check out the car cover as I don't have a garage and our condo assn has underground sprinklers that spew out rusty water (dealing with this of course).
I did an ebay search and there are a ton of different items (albeit allot of cheesy chrome pieces).
With the CDN dollar so low for exchange, the dealer price of $180 for the tonneau doesn't look bad.
Most online were around $135 US, +/- shipping.
What I'd REALLY like to find (hoping it comes later) is a slide in top tray for the armrest storage area.
Perhaps some 'cut to fit' weather mats. My Canadian Tire ones work but fit a little weird around the gas pedal.
Also, kind of like the idea of replacing the rear reflectors with LED brake / turn lights. Always helps to be seen.
Perhaps an LED door reflector kit too? Again, better lighting when the door is open, that is once the handle lights work ;-P
All weather premium mats with great raised sides, made of polyurethane, with few layers of regular carpet underneath for non sliding. Easy to clean by water, no dry necessary etc...You can see them on canadian website.
My personal view, they are WAY better than from weathertech, but cost also WAY more ..
- front side - D3F13-AP100 - $219 CAD a set
- rear - one piece mat - D3F13-AP200 - 163CAD
- cargo mat D3F12-AP100 - 80CAD.
Need to ask again - should I consider the front grill cover. My car is white and I want to protect the nice chrome and keep bugs and dirt out of the front.
The only reason I was thinking of it is to have mesh grill installed....I will buy tomorrow one and will try to fully cover the radiator. What I would suggest is also to have 3m scotch guard installed on front bumper, mirrors, outside a-pillars and hood. However it will cost some extra$$.
Seeing as we're talking about the storage area out back, here's a little trick (happy Halloween).
I hate when things slide around in the back, and I often carry my equipment in pelican style boxes.
Spent $3.08 at the dollar store for an 18" x 60" roll of black, rubber shelf liner.
Wrapped it around the storage cover base and wallah! Nothing moves. Absolutely nothing!
Gotta love the simple things in life.
I was browsing through some KDM sites and found a couple of aftermarket accesories for the Tucson. Check out the pic below, there's a couple of exhaust mufflers, radiator grill set, alternate rims, running side boards and even a "sport" brake system. You can check the Korean-Motors website.
I'm digging the side boards and the dual exhaust. The wheels are nice too but the shipping will be crazy expensive. What I did not see on that site was the trunk light. Maybe that's how the Korean model's are?
As I understand it, TUIX is owned by Hyundai. I'm hoping that all of the accessories/mods shown in the pics will be available eventually. Being a new model, it might just require patience.
That looks quite elegant and should keep the front of the hood clean. I also wonder if there should be a cover inside the front grill to filter out stones, sand, bugs etc from entering the engine compartment.
I got the privacy cover and the rubber mat for the cargo area from the dealer. Here's the pic. Sorry about the dust. The underground garage in my condo is kind of dusty.
but--- How do I order a product from this website?
The Mobis Marketing Platform is a B2B website to provide product information. If you would like to order a product, please note the part number code and contact your local dealer. Thank you for your understanding.
Thanks to all who posted pictures. I am interested in the front cover but also want something to protect the front grill too. Is anything available for this? THX.
When can we expect a lot more third party stuff? If you look at 2012-2013 tucson cargo trays, they go for $20-$30 on eBay, and I dont want to spend the $80 Hyundai wants for theirs.
Mud flaps are still around $40 on eBay and AliExpress, and window visors are 90++++!!
One of the things I missed that was on my Focus Titanium was the stock ambient lighting. It cast a nice glow on the foot wells, door pockets and cup holders and with the ability to easily change the color. Was a little let down that the Limited/ultimate package didn't include this feature but is available as an accessory - just in blue;
Just came in the mail today and will install when the LED cup holder disc arrive. Also, wouldn't mind having these but can't seem to find them online or at the dealer;https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DsKkU_NsmH8
btw: some drilling is required for the ambient lighting kit.

Oh didn't know Compass Nav was still active. Thought UNAVI was the only big player around. I know there was Charles on these forums for Compass NAV, not sure if he's still around. They're both great systems.
Always on. Had them in my Focus and it helped to reduce some of the glare from the instrument cluster. They're on the same dimming circuit.
