Red face 2016 Limited vs Ultimate head lights

I see limited version has some two rings but ultimate has only one ring in the headlights. Why is that? Is lighting in limited superior to Ultimate? I circled the head lights with red color in the images below. I know ultimate has adaptive lighting that turns with the steering. I thought both high and low beams are HID's in ultimate. Isn't that true?

So can that be corrected with just good bulbs, I'm not a fan of the light displacement of the Ultimate lighting with high beams, they look cheap Imho I had one for 5 days...

I agree with you. I'm not much of a car person but it is my understanding that you can replace the bulbs with with better ones but they won't be on par with the HIDs.

No they won't and if the high beams are also the DRL like my Sonata then you will not be able to put an aftermarket HID kit in them either.

I just posted a new thread about the LED low-beams on Ultimate in canada...would be great is some one with an adaptive HID will do the same, so we can compare both...

The limited in canada has adaptive HID, but ultimate is just LED....You won't be able to replace LEDs as they are a complete units itself. In my point, seems I am getting like them....

If you have a lovely wife, sexy hot lover, cool car, no problems with the government and revenue authorities, and when you go out the sun always shines and all passers smile to you - common dude, say NO to drugs!

@varunkumars

I have the Limited here in the US with LED headlights and they are fine. It's on the Ultimate in Canada. I've had HID projectors and prefer them but these LED headlights are better than I expected and they will probably last forever.

Ultimate:

2 rings are the standard Limited LED headlights. 1 ring is the optional HID headlight for the Limited. The rest have projector halogen headlights, 1 ring as well.

The Limited has HID lights and the Ultimate has LED lights.

In my limited high beams are not HID but stay on with the high beam. I personally love the Brightness, most times I don't even need high beams.

This is one of those things I too questioned about. When I bought my US model Limited Ultimate, it said on the papersheet in the window that it had LED headlights. I too have just 1 ring.

I think the 2 rings look badass looking. But I was lost on what those are exactly. I saw those headlights on a couple of the cars in the lot but had no idea of those are HID or LED. I think 2 rings looks very cool. But am I correct then that the 2 rings are HID and NOT LED? Since there are 2 rings are there 2 bulbs in there?

Any input would be great on this one. I was kind of disappointed when I went back to the dealer for some work and saw ones with 2 beams and thought ah man I wish I had those!
