its in the area under the left back seat.

but why do you need it, these things are usually changed after a long time (7-10) years.

yea I just wanted to see the condition of it.. I heard every couple of years but Hyundai told me its located inside the fuel tank for my 2006 Santa Fe.. and never needs to be replaced and therefore it always keeps itself clean?? hmm ok there.. well will see I guess what happens over the years.

yea the gas is pretty good around here most of the time.. sometimes you get a bad batch and it burns real fast and other times it lasts.. uhmm then maybe you can help me fmfm about acceleration problems when on highway speeds.. I give it some gas to pass and there is a 2-4 second wait for it kicks in the speed??

Why do you say Fuel Filter changed after a LONG TIME???? I checked my maintenance schedule for my Santa Fe 04 ---- says to Replace Fuel Filter at 52250 miles. What is it I am getting wrong here? Or, is it inspection?

hi bmninada.. I was told it never has to be changed or inspected but according to book yea for 06 santa fe it says like 80,000 km's? wtf?? hard to say if it needs to be worked on or not.. they also said it cleans itself cuz it sits inside the fuel tank. who knows what to do.. all I know is if it does need to be replaced well it will cost me due to the fact you gotta take the gas out, pull the tank apart. etc.
