Where is the oil filter located on a Hyundai Santa Fe 2.7L V6? I can'tt seem to find it.

It is toward the front near the radiator. It is very easy to see. If you have AWD it may be covered with some type of skid plate. Good Luck

There should be a small removable cover on that skid plate to get at the thing.

I just bought oil filter for the 2.7 engine. My ATV has a bigger oil filter than this. Is there a larger oil filter that fits this engine? :director:

hope its a Hyundai filter, lots of the aftermarket ones I've seen leak on the 2.7s And if you got a fram oil rilter, you may as well not even bother taking off the oid filter as frams are trash

Do you think this will pass???
Frams are just about as good as the rest. You change them every 3000 miles also. I've used fram filters with no problems before and always get 100's of thousands of miles on my vehicles.
