HI I HAVE A 2001 SANTA FE WITH SOME TROUBLE CODES FROM THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. CODES THAT COMES UP IS PO118 , PO002 , PO711 AND EVERYTHING IS RUNNING GREAT AND NOT OVERHEATING AND EVERYTIME WE TURN THE LIGHT OFF AND DRIVE THE CAR ITS FINE UNTIL WE START THE CAR AGAIN.

PLEASE ANY HELP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION COULD HELP.

from my Haynes book,

118 is Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit, high input voltage
002 not listed in my table..sorry...
711 Transmission fluid temperature sensor circuit, range or performance problem

my guess? get the codes cleared and see what happens. in my uneducated mind, i would think something got too hot one time or another or the ambient temp/airflow/idling motor or something caused the car to think it was too hot. if its working fine, try to get them cleared and see what happens. good lucks. check engine lights can get really annoying IMO
