Got the Santa fe on jackstands, removed left front tire, tried reaching in with 17 mm tubing wrench to loosen lower P/S hose connection and could not position wrench any way that would accomplish this.
Is there a special wrench or technique that can remove lower hose connection?

I know the power steering hose replacement is a common occurance with Santa Fe. Somebody must have changed one on here. Any pointers on how and what wrenchs to use.

Crabcruncher...I did a search for you and didn't find anybody who had mentioned issues with wrenches fitting in there. What exactly is in the way?

I found this post...hopefully it might shed some light on your problems. http://www.hyundai-forums.com/index.php?sh...=power+steering

What isnt in the way lol. Tried from underneath, tried from above, and removed drivers side wheel to try from that direction. May be able to fit an open end box wrench in their if you cut it in half. I tried an offset 17 mm six point tubing wrench, but it needed a few more degrees of an offset angle to work, but I didnt have a torch and a vise to modify the wrench. I'll just take it to the shop.
Thanks for responding.
