Default Radiator fans won't turn on 2001 GLS

HELP!

2001 Sonata GLS started overheating, the driver's side fan was not turning. Fan tested bad; replaced fan. Still does not turn, but the one on the passenger side did for a few days. Now neither fan will turn on.

The thermostat on the dash is working correctly.

I checked all my fuses and they look OK.

The car will run fine for a mile or so, then starts to get too hot.

What do I do next?

I am just guessing..but if you are sure that both fans are good.... I would suspect that there is a temperature switch that probably monitors coolant temperature and tells the fans when to turn on and off....you might track down this switch and check it out or replace it if it doesnt' cost too much. Just a suggestion..I am not familiar with the GLS

I agree, a sensor or some type of control module would be suspect. Another thing to consider is a good ground to complete the circuit for the fan. It is just as important as the positive side. I have had luck looking at wiring by joining AutoZone parts community. Once you join you can access all of the wiring diagrams they have.
