Default Help! No power to blower motor!

Hello, I am new here and need help. I have a 99 Sonata with manual contolled heat and the blower just stopped working. I searched the sight and used many of the tips to narrow down my problem. I checked all the fuses, swapped out all the relays, jumped the blower motor and it works. There is no power going to the blower motor. I used the Hyundai service website and printed a copy of the wiring diagram. I don't know where else to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The switch that changes fan speeds is a common failure point on your car. Replace the switch and it will likely work again.

If you have the wiring diagram, use a volt meter to trace out the circuit before changing any part. Random replacement of parts can become very expensive. Be sure first.

it's a long shot but change the fuse in the engine compartment for the blower even if it tests good. clean the contacts in the case it goes in and replace the fuse. i had the same trouble for 6 months and finally found it when it stoped completely, it was intermittent for me on and off at times. what had happened was the fuse burned up but still worked ( really couldn't see how it still worked but it did) the contact on the one leg was really burnt and corroded so it was working and not working on and off for 6 months. till it completely failed i couldn't find it. just work back from the blower motor to find the power loss, there are 2 sorces of power. 1 on at key on from the fuse under the dash and the other on all the time from the engine compartment. good luck it took me 6 months to find the bad fuse. who would look for a fuse when it worked some of the time!!!
