Default Where do I start

So i bought my first Elantra GL, 2009. It has 130k on it but with a clean history. I have been a Honda driver for 8 years, is there anything I should seriously consider looking into besides the checkup. I don't know too much about Hyundia's history.

The main thing is to check the service history to see when/if the timing belt was replaced.

Seconded. Apart from timing belt maintenance there's not too much that seems to go wrong with them (new to the Elantra myself). You might not find it as "sporty" as the Honda, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially when you get older. Most mechanics here love the Beta II engine and have nothing but praise for them. Hyundai have come an extremely long way from the pieces of junk they popped out in the 80's!

I found a reliable Hyundai dealer in Hamilton that charges $514cdn plus tax for timing belt all parts and labour included. I will be very close to the level 3 maintenance schedule.

Should have the keys this Friday or Saturday. I am sure after driving for a bit my first thing to do will be start cleaning & detailing since it will be 10°c this weekend.

I'm more anxious than I was the night before my wedding.

That's a pretty good price... here that service is around A$900 for the same thing! What's this level 3 schedule you speak of?

10°c? Can we please swap? We've had 40°c already and my family out west has had 45°c!
