Question for Tib owners with sunroofs...

I'm currently working on an 08 Tib. and the issue is a creaking from the sunroof while driving and or just pushing up or down on the sunroof glass. I test drive it and the noise is definitely coming from the glass. If you push up/down on the glass the rubber seals creak. I put some silicone on the rubber to see if that did anything. Only quieted it down a little. Just seeing if anyone else has run across this and what they did to correct it aside from just replacing the glass n seal. Thanks

no noise from mine....I would think you've got some loose hardware up they if its noisy like that though.....

Is it only in cold weather? My sunroof doesn't make any noise but my rear hatch certainly does in the cold. Not sure if there's any way to fix it other than spraying silicone all the time or replacing the seals.

Never heard of a 2010 Tib. You sure? In the US 2008 was the last model year.

It's 2009 model but I bought it from Hyundai showroom in my country in 2010

Then it's a 2009 Tiburon. Buying it later doesn't change the model year.

I gave mine a look today.....

Gotta ask though, has it ever been wrecked or disassembled?

I'm thinking you seals are in need of freshening up....The mechanism pulls the top down into the seal....If the seals have hardened or shrunk.....
