Default 2001 Auto Tibby Idle issue. Please help.

I have a 2001 Tiburon with a 2.0. The car is an auto and I take great care of it. I have beat my head off the wall trying to figure out what is going on with it though. When you start the car it cranks forever before finally starting. Using full throttle helps the car start faster. Once started the car runs fine but it idles up and down and acts like it wants to die. When you come to a stop light it will try to do the loping idle then want to die. I have replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the throttle body, and replaced the idle air control valve. HELP.

you should have the fuel pressure tested. should be around 49-50psi if i remember correctly.

Also try running some super gas in it. could be dirty fuel injectors. i run 91 octance (super) gas in my car at all times, i find that it runs much better vs. regular. when i first bought it with 80K she just didnt seem to run...clean i should say..............after running about 5 tanks of super through it, i noticed idle became a bit smoother, and my throttle response and the pickup speed just seemed better. Could be my head playing tricks with me but its worth a shot....
