Default Trunk will not open (Only key and emergency latch will work)

As the title says.
* Remote won't work
* Handle above license plate won't work
* Lever in front door by the gas cap lever won't work
* Only thing that works are physically putting the key in the trunk opener and also emergency latch inside the trunk

What gives?

open your glovebox, take a look at the upperside of it... there's a button that activate and deactivate the remote trunk openers.

this is for when you left your car on the dealer you must leave the service key (the small one) so no one can open your trunk =)

this or you probably have some kind of problem :S

I actually read the manual before I went back on the forum..and sure enough it said something about that button. You're absolutely right. I am an idiot lol I detailed the car today...and not sure how I even pressed that button, but I did somehow when I opened the glove box.
At any rate, solved.
Thanks

lol, nice to have helped you... that's the same that happened to me when my dad bought me the car, the trunk wasn't opening from any remote opener just using the key, I went on a trip to another city with my family and when I was parked I took the manual, opened a random page and it was just the page about that button lol

so that's how I figured out the problem in my case

Add my granddaughter to that list. Yours truly revealed the secret to her. Someone once showed her grandfather the same secret on a different vehicle. So, add me on there, also. Welcome to the human race!

Add 1 more who had this issue with a 2013 Azera. There is no mention of the switch in the manual, but when I looked there it was. All is good now. Have only had the car 2 weeks, but it is very nice.
