Default Remote starter run time adjustment

The factory remote start is set to its default run time of 3 minutes which is nowhere near long enough for the vehicle to warm up. The user guide says I need to visit the installer to adjust this to 8 or 15 minutes. Does anyone have instructions on how to change this myself? I found instructions for the 2013 model in the forums but they don't work for this model.

Thanks!

Is this dealer installed or factory?

I'm not sure. I bought the car used. I would guess it's dealer installed. It's a hyundai branded starter though (at least based on the key fob)

You can use an aftermarket remote start and still use the factory key fob. look underneath the steering column to see if you can find the remote starter brain. it might be zip tied all the way up to the top.

They list for $325 if I recall. I paid $400 total, including installation, at my local dealer last month to have it installed in my wife's Santa Fe. They did a very good job. I'll be honest; I worked on them to get that price.
