Poor phone call quality on 2012 Santa Fe Limited - Page 2

The only issue I have is if the phone has not been paired for 4-5 days then it will not auto pair. I will have to select it. After that it auto pairs perfectly.

Base model radio using Motorola Spice.
Chances are i think it's the phone itself

Thanks for all of your replies on this. I have the NAV system with the Infinity stereo 10 speaker setup. My iphone 4 has never given me problems before but I was not aware of the settings that crackinhedz has shown me above.

I will try that and see if it makes a difference. Thank you all again.

Update. Went out in garage and linked iphone4 to vehicle (has Nav system). Did what crackinhedz suggested with setting phone volume. That is just an adjustment for the volume that comes from the car speakers, not the microphone volume. Will keep trying other things. Eligible for phone upgrade in May so I can wait and change phones and see if it may have been my iphone causing it. Thanks.

Some Elantra owners have gotten cars with defective mics and it sounds like you are in that group, despite owning an SF. I had my iPhone 4 paired to my 2010 Santa Fe and never had an issue with it.
