I am trying to replace the rear windshield wiper on my 2008 Santa Fe. I have replaced both front blades but do not know how to remove the rear blade. Thanks.

I'd love to help but unfortunately I don't have a second-gen Santa Fe. If nobody chimes in, take it to the dealer and have them install it for you. A great majority of stores will do this free of charge and if they try to charge you, go somewhere else.

It's -7F here or I would go out and try this myself. According to your owners manual section 6 page 10:

1. Raise the wiper arm and pull out the wiper blade assembly.

2. Install the new blade assembly by inserting the center part into the wiper arm until it clicks into place.

That's all it says, no detailed info on exactly how to get it out. I'll try and take a look at it later when it warms up here later. Hopefully it gets above 0 today!

I went to Pep Boys. They will install for free.

Thank you all - I will go and try and do what the manual indicates however I was not able to remove the wiper. If that does not work I will try running to an auto store. Thanks again.

Here is the info I found on the rear wiper from an earlier post I made on the same subject. http://www.hyundai-forums.com/index.php?sh...p;hl=alaskanawd

I found a direct replacement blade today at CarQuest Auto Parts. 15 second swap out, just lift arm from the glass and tip the blade out 90 degrees and it just pulls off. The new blade slips on, tip it in 90 degrees, and tilt arm back onto the glass.

Part #14-5A (Made by Trico, Exact Fit)
