Exclamation Valve clearance adjustment

I can't believe Hyundai does not have hydraulic valves. What the reason for checking valve clearance. What does this cost on an Entourage V6.

Thanks for any input.

Probably sodium filled which means they should never need adjustment.

Adjusting valves was an 80's car thing IMO , I'm sure there will be different opinions.

You would need a shim set to make proper adjustments. But its seldom ever done.

My brother has an 08 Entourage , he loves it only a few minor warranty issues.

No shims on the Lambda engine.. it is select fit buckets... get your numbers, then measure old bucket, add/subtract to get new bucket thickness number,, requires approx 1/2 engine tear down to do the job..

Silly recalls, minor electrical, crap shoot OE battery, 2nd row seats dont tip, side doors not close fully and open right back up, side door wont open with electric
They show up for service full of kid seats, trash, generally messy, and want work done inside the cabin..

The buckets are like steel washers/caps ?
The new calculated one is a different thickness , so you would need a set to choose from ?

It a shame the Entourage was killed off ; too much pricing competition maybe in van market. I wonder if Kia will keep theirs for much longer.
