I am looking at an Entourage that has power sliders. The driver side does not work. Is there any issues if I use the door manually? Is there a way to make it easier to open manually?

Thanks

[b]No, other than your arm might get a wee bit more muscular opening the door

Is there a way to make it easier to open manually?
[b]Yes, repair the system fualt, whatever it is... $$$ if you got to pay for it..
You do have the master power switch at overhead console turned on,,,, right ?? Door on other side works as intended ??

Thanks

See if you specifically explain the symptoms.. pull handle and door just unlatch front and rear and not move ? Close with power and it opens right back up ?

There is current recall for new rear latch for both plain door and electic door, so at least you'll get new latch at each door FREE.. Is the car still within the 5yr/60,000 warranty period the the door be repaired under warranty ?

None of the power buttons or key fob remote will open or close the door. You can open and close it manually but it would be hard for a kid to open and close it this way. It is out of warranty (07 with 71K miles)

Thanks

Simply push the power off button on the overhead console - right side. Then operate the doors as manual.

Make sure the inside door lock in set to the unlock position. Same thing happened to me, would not open, unlocked the doors and it worked.

Scored a major victory as the door was fixed under the latch recall notice.

What was this recall for? If my entourage's door closes and opens right away, is that part of the recall?

The recall was for a bad latch which must have stopped the door from Opening via the power sliders. Once they completed the recall repair, the door worked like new.
