Hi guys,

Question about FOB compadility?
Purchased an 04 XG350 spoke w/Hyundai dealer to make sure vehicle was equipt with keyless entry/alarm. Was quoted $169.00 for remote and $70.00 to reprogram. Thought I would try to find one online, found a few but the transmitter assy code was not the same as the one from the dealer. Asked if the different ones I found were compadible. They would not or could give me an answer because he either didn't know or wanted me to buy a new one. Does anyone know if I can get one that is compadible if so how I can tell.

Tim

Ok, First just to let you know you do not have to let the dealer program the remote. Here are instructions
and for all those who need them
I am still checking compatibility for you

1. SANTA FE / XG300 / XG350: ACCESS ALARM SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE LOCATED BEHIND DRIVERíS SIDE FASCIA PANEL

2. SONATA: ACCESS CENTRAL LOCKING SIGNAL CONTROL MODULE LOCATED BEHIND FASCIA, CENTER.

3. ENSURE MEMORY SWITCH IS IN OFF POSITION.

4. TURN IGNITON TO ON

5. WAIT 5 SECONDS, SET MEMORY SWITCH TO SET POSITION.

6. PUSH REMOTE LCOK BUTTON TO SEND CODE TO ALARM SYSTEM CONTROL MODULE

7. TO PROGRAM 2ND REMOTE: PRESS 2ND REMOTE LOCK BUTTON

8. SET MEMORY SWITCH TO OFF POSITION

9. TURN IGNITION TO OFF

10. CONFIRM PROGRAMMING BY LOCKING AND UNLOCKING CAR WITH BOTH REMOTES

11. REFIT ALL COMPONENTS IN Reverse ORDER OF REMOVAL

ONLY 2 REMOTES CAN BE PROGRAMMED AT ONCE.

FCC ID: PINHACOEF311T PINHAC0EF311T

dealer # 95430-3D201

CANADA: 4018104359

Beware...some of the keyless entries were not factory installed (or that is my understanding) and the dealer used a different system.

I believe this is for your car....not 100% though as several different ones were used. Also the module should have a fcc id and that should help narrow it down
The module will be located as stated in my previous post with instructions

Well, my XG 300 didn't have a switch behind a facia panel. Nada.
Bought the car used, a salvage with no warranty, and got no remotes with it. I started researching part numbers and HMAService, and the web, but there was not much info out there that helped.

Ultimately, I got two remotes via eBay, and had to figure out how the programming was done by hand. It made for a lot of work for me, but I did document the procedure. Help yourself:

My doc on the web is here:

I'd bet real money that the 350 is different.
