In my 2001 Accent it is very straight forward ... Simply disconnect the power from the back (pull away from light) .. Remove the dust cap (simple rubber backing). Then should be able to remove the clip that holds the bulb in place (unclip then swing away). The manual should show how that works. Then put new bulb in and do the reverse .. make sure the clip is in tight, and verify the lights shine straight (according to specs in manual) .. I don't think you need any tools. Although my Drivers side is usually a bit harder to change since the battery is very close to the headlamp.
-Hope that helps |

I usually end up taking out the whole light assembly because of the close proximity of the battery. I think it was only two bolts to remove each light. You would then have to disconnect the turnsignal / parking lamp connector though. I find it easier to see the lamp clip that way.
