When I was at about 40k miles I started to have this problem. Driving above 35mph the road noise started to get louder. I first thought it was my tires but the noise went away after driving about 1k miles. Now I'm at 72k miles on different set of tires and the noise is even louder. According to a few mechanic shops, they say that there is not enough air flow going into the engine. But I'm not sure if that's the problem. It's not under warranty anymore and I can't just take it to the dealer to find out what's wrong. Anyone have a similar problem? Please help

Wheel bearing at front, 1 side or both ....
Driving down open road (nobody around to think you DUI),, take and do a series of moderate "S" turn weaving to put weight on 1 corner in turn, and weight on opposite when steer the other way... does the sound change,, should if bearing bum.. Bearings do not like impact.. it'll make them have noise if hit hard enough to damage balls or races

I knew the tires weren't the problem. Discount tire gave me a good deal. I had about 50% tread on my Pirelli P Zero Nero. Swapped it for the Michelin Primacy Mxm4 for $92 installed. So I took the deal. SBR11. Yes when I take turns the noise changes. In fact, it gets louder on turns.

I tried taking a video but the sound was not loud enough for people to hear. I'm dropping off my car to the dealer Monday to get my check engine light sorted out. Having some issues with the torque converter. They said they will do a diagnostic check to find out the root cause of the noise.

Just a note. People in Houston, don't bother going to sterling McCall Hyundai if you have issues with your car. Service sucks and they don't give out loaners. I went there 3 times. They kept my car for 4 days and told me nothing was wrong. They gave me the same bullshit 3 times. I brought my car there when the check engine light was on. They kept resetting the code. Now I go to the HUB Hyundai, where I bought the car. Service reps are nice and they give you a loaner.
