Every time I came back to pick up the car, I never received a ticket. They always told me to pick up my keys from the cashier. Never got paperwork. I'm not sure what the code is. I know it was regarding a torque converter, the first time I went to HUB Hyundai, they told me within 1hr that the code that came up was a bad torque converter and a bad brake switch. They called me the next day saying that it could just be the brake switch, which wasn't under warranty. I had to pay about $150 to get that fixed. It fixed the problem I was having with the rpm being a little higher then normal. But a few days ago, check engine light came on again.

NEVER - EVER leave dealership without copy of the service invoice for the visit !!

Go back and get them.

If they expect to get paid by Hundai for WARANTY repairs, they have to have proper documentation papers, and part of which you did not receive.. same for you buying part and labor, you owed receipt documenting what you bought and paid for.

I did ask the second time I went, but they said they never worked on the car therefore no need for paperwork. When I got my brake switch changed by HUB Hyundai, I received paperwork. Still trying to locate that so I can tell you what code came up.

As for the problem with my car, it's still at the dealer. They first said and confirmed it was the wheel bearing but when they took it apart, realized it wasn't the problem. That saved me $400. Now they said its the axle. And it's covered under the power train warranty. Thank god. I've been stuck with a loaner for more then a week now.
