While the topic is about fog lights, post #6 has a pretty complete headlight/foglight wiring diagram.
Unfortunately I'm not sure it's complete enough. There is something called a "BDM" which contains a "lo beam relay" but I can't be sure its the marker lamp relay. The diagram is a thorough depiction of the Fog Lamps (which I don't have) but I need an equivalent diagram of the marker lamps so I can see where these relays are and what connectors/pins & wire colors/stripes I'm looking for under the dash & under the hood. The mod I have in mind is pretty simple if I can find what I'm looking for.

I tried the AutoZone diagrams but they don't have the NF Sonatas, they depict the 1.6L accent instead.

Thanks again.

The stop lamp circuit is not part of the lighting circuit - pure coincidence that the parking lights stay on.
I would, however, suggest you get yourself a wiring diagram and systematically trace out the circuit and its components to see where the power remains "on" before aimlessly replacing parts.
I made sure at time of my 2006 purchase that a full set of shop manuals was included in the deal. You should still be able to just buy the Electrical Manual separately from the dealer now.
As an aside, the manual(s) have allowed me to understand the workings of the car much better so I don't have to rely on the dealer. They have also allowed me to hook up the brake lights in the trunk lamp assemblies when I discovered that they were already dual filament lights from the factory. Just added the missing single wire, and voila, I have full width brake lights.

Default Sonata 07 Parking lights won't go off.

The parking lights won't go off, had new headlight switch put in. A day later the parking lights stay on again. Had to switch it off and on 5 times before it went off. The Dealer told my wife he'd fix it for $2500, or she could trade the car in.
This car has been fine except for this. It's the Limited Sonata 07. There's got to be a better fix for a relay or fuse box etc, then $2500.
Any one have a solution? Thanks.
