I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata and the Heater/AC blower motor stops working on occasion. It will start working again if I tap the housing for the blower motor where the Cab Air Cleaner is located, or if I turn the fan wheel by hand. Do I need to replace the entire blower assembly or is it the resistor? Also how difficult is it to replace.

The vehicle was manufactured in October of 2005 and I was told, even though I bought it new in August of 2006, that it was out of warranty by one month.

Any help is appreciated.

Your warrenty starts the day you buy the car, NOT the date of cars manufacture. Go back to the dealer and tell him he is full of ****.
