Well i recently bought a 2002 Elantra Gt and it came with a factory alarm system that I don't believe is working. One reason why I believe this is because I tried tripping it by what the owners manual says will trip it. Also the owners manual says when the alarm is "Armed" with the Key Fob the blinkers will blink, well that doesn't happen when I lock the doors only when I unlock them. I've been in the Hyundai Service site and looked at the schematics. Also besides the sticker on my window that says I have a Hyudnai factory alarm, I located the Siren on my car according to the pictures on that website. I would be able to fix this myself but the schematics and pictures on the website don't give voltages or any other info that I could use for troubling shooting, (I don't believe). I don't know if this could be disarmed or unplugged. Nor don't I know why the alarm doesn't Arm when I lock the doors. Thank you for any help!
