Air Bag Light

So I tried to reset my check engine light by pulling the fuse with power to the vehicle . So now the AIR BAG light is on continuously. I plan on having it checked anyway because of the age of the car, but in the mean time I could do with out the annoyance. So my question is: Will my SRS air bag still work if I just leave everything alone? Also will it work if I pull the fuse that the light is on? Any info would be great. Happy Holidays!

Just kidding by the way.....I'd have it looked at ASAP. I wouldn't just try to get the light to go off....You may have freaked the whole airbag system out.

I've the same problem. After cleaning en error from ECU it's coming back.
I removed bulb from dashboard.
no bulb - no problem

I am having the same problem with my 1996 elantra and I have tried everything except taking the light out that is next

all you will do by removing the bulb is just that (turn the light out) it's doubtful if the air bags would work in an emergentcy and in the worst case that could mean 'game over'
