Ignition Timing 1997 Elantra (k)

Since the Elantra does not have a distribitor how does one make small adjustments to the timing?

No way to change Ing timing on that car other than altering PCM

That's right, you can't adjust anything as its all controlled by the ECU; even the idle speed. The only option is to start updating chips in the ECU with EPROMS that can be mapped or 'tuned' but on an '87 car its not worth it.
