Where did you put the resistors? I'm assuming since you're in Canada, you have DRLs which run the high beams in low power mode, correct? Do the signals come on when DRLs are on? Do they also come on if you use the "flash to pass" high beam?

I actually don't know if they come on in those instances, I've only been able to check it myself without someone helping, next time I'm down there ill get a helper to push the switch while I watch.
Where I placed them: on the rear signals I installed them between the tail light assembly and the body, spliced using those plastic splice things The front turn signals took me a while to figure out which wires needed to be bridged with the resistor, I used a bulb with wires on it to find out which wires on the harness were the second live wires to the dual intensity bulbs up front once I found them I stripped some of the tape back from the harness wires and installed the same resistors across those wires. I have a feeling that my problem is up front, I haven't been able to find an actual pin-out diagram for those harnesses so I may have put the resistor across the wrong wires potentially.. Still have not found a diagram for that harness, and have confirmed that the resistors are causing the problem. Both sides. Took the resistor off of each side one at a time while testing the turn signals with the high beams on. Still the same problem. In the morning I'm installing my bling lights fog lights ill try to trouble shoot it some more
