you need both valves to equalize the pressure on both sides of the diaphragm of the CADS actuator ... without one you risk that the CADS is not 100% engaged or stays engaged also in 2WD mode... you might get away with it, but I wouldn't risk it considering the small costs www.fourgreen.com - Hyundai/Kia - TERRACAN - VALVE ASSY-SOLENOID(CADS) - 51000H1500 ... US$ 30 plus shipping .... this is the whole bracket with the 2 valves... so you have a spare ...(not sure whether you get the single valves...)
