I dunno but maybe metal isn't good for dog teeth? My dog has been loosing a lot of hair the last few months, usualy in winter Nitika has a thick winter double coat but right now she looks naked lol, the guy at the food store told me that many dogs are allergic to chicken powder in dog food, I switched to lamb food and her hair loss has stopped. Maybe you can try lamb? lamb is easily digested and make their fur to look healty.
