Default Hyundai Launched Cheapest Car in India

Hello Friends,

I would like to share a New Car which was launched by Hyundai in India known as "Hyundia Eon".

Hyundai Eon, earlier code-named HA, will be launched in the month of October, days ahead of Diwali at a starting price of Rs 2.50 lakh to Rs 2.60 lakh. The entry level small car will take on Maruti Suzuki Alto which is the best selling car in the world. Will Eon manage to dethrone Alto in India, that’s a milion dollar question.
In the looks department, Hyundai Eon is far better looking than Maruti Alto. The Eon comes with Hyundai’s new Fluidic styling that runs through all new cars of the South Korean company. The same stying was incorporated in new Verna which is giving serious competition to segment leader Honda City.

Hyundai Eon To Be Launched In October at 2.5 Lacs

Update : Hyundai has launched the Eon small car in India last month. For a city commuter, it doesn't seem like a bad option to go for. Check out the details below:

2011 Hyundai Eon Features, Photos, Price in India

Will this be launched worldwide or is it just an Indian model?

pretty good car around the city but only good as a second vehicle. The 55 bhp scares me silly. Anyone know what the currency conversion to USD is?

Default Service and quality of parts is what counts

Will Hyundai be able to match Quality of Service and car parts being provided by Maruti?

I will go for reliability and service.

Regards,
Anurag

Hyundai Eon has been launched in India and car is getting the tremendous response. The car is one of the cheapest car by Hyundai company and already the huge booking amount has been payed by the people. I also booked this car for few reason first the price and second style plus features. Last not the least the fuel average is also been pretty.

I was amazed that a new car can be made and sold for under $3000 in India, then i checked what an Elantra cost in India, its the same as what an Elantra costs here, so how is it they can sell a new car under $3000 there and why is it we don't have them here and elsewhere in the world?
Scratch the surface and you see these sub $3k vehicles have no safety features apart from seat belts, No ABS or EBD or ESC or Traction control or Air Bags. Now i start to understand how they achieve the low cost, they are selling death traps to the masses, can you imagine the crash ratings on these lightweight cars with no safety features.
So i don't get why you guys are excited about these new release models, its like applauding a tobacco company for bringing a new brand of cigarette to the market place

Default Worst Service Beeaar Hyundai/Lucknow

Hi,
I am vishnu, I have purchased the i10 car on 26th july 2012 from Beeaar Hyundai,Lucknow.
and all docs provided to dealer for my registration at the time of delivery, but till today my registration could not be done,
After a long and regular follow ups when i am asking to dealer staff for status of my registration they has raising one by one Pendency.
Why no any person has called me if RTO raising any pendency regarding my Registration?
till today no any person call to me for telling thats why my registration is pending?
if any happening's done in my car then who will responsible for that?
The insurance company never consider the claim because the registration could not be done in TAT.
If Dealer has received money from us for registration then its his prime responsibility that registration should we done in time.

And For your kind Information its not my first and last bad experience of this dealer,

My second poor experience is at the time of delivery of my car dealer has installed the duplicate speaker in my car,
As dealer has confirmed that in scheme he is giving sony music system and 4 sony speaker with paper(guarantee).
but at the time of delivery he has not given any papers when i asked to him he has assured that he will provide speakers guarantee bills very soon.
Now after a long follow up/regular calling he has confirmed that the installed speaker was duplicate,And deny for given to original speakers.

Requesting you to please look into and provide resolution...

Regards
vishnu

Hyundai Eon really launched a cheap car which makes good business in Indian market as well & gives better competition to Maruti models. But now Maruti also launching another cheap model of itself on 16th October 2012, which increases the competition for both Maruti & Hyundai models.
