moving your post over to the tucson forum for a better response

My buddy is having the same problem, it just won't start, it was running fine, pulled in the driveway, shut it off and it hasn't started since. We've changed the fuel pump and filter, cam and crank sensors to no avail, there's no spark and no fuel. We've hunted for some kind of reset button or something of the sort.

We're both 50 years old and have been fixing our own stuff all our lives and we're stumped, we don't feel that it's the pcm or anything because there hasn't been any previous problems.

Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance. Oh, and I've looked around on this forum 2 or 3 times, I'm still looking.

EDIT: It's a 2006 Hyundai Tuscon with the V6, sorry.

Hi i have same problem, i have tucson 2006 diesel.I bought the car end of April and the garage have had it back 16 times, and everytime it has a new part fitted, i had a new cambelt fitted in may (the garage were i bought it from fitted it) ive also had my injectors reconditioned, new steering rack, track rod ends, rack rod ends, the list goes on!! then 2 weeks ago my car started up as always i drove about 3 miles and it just conked out on me, i thought i had stalled it. it wouldnt restart. The aa towed it back to where we bought it from. It needs a new engine, they said the bottom of engine was 1/4 turn out so all the inside and top of engine are smashed and cracked!! but they said it wasnt the cambelt that caused the damage it was the oil wasnt getting to the top of engine?? the problem we are haveing now because of all the work and many many new parts this car has had there isnt enough money left on the warranty?? Im gutted any advice would be greatful Thankyou
