Thumbs up

I have to temporarily remove the in car rear view mirror in order to mount a scangauge to the area above the rear view mirror. I cannot find any instructions on how to remove the mirror, only that folks have cracked their windshields trying to remove it. The online instructions are not clear or I cannot find a place that gives me the how to detail. Has anyone removed the rear view mirror or know how to? Your help will be highly appreciated.

Okay, got it. Just push down on it. Looks like most the rear view mirror mounts on Hyundais are like that.

Found this on the forum

Just hold on to the mirror so that it does not drop.
