I am at lost to whether I tint the rear window or not. I went around different shops asking around and almost all of them cannot guarantee that the heating element will not be damaged when the time comes to replace the tint. One shop told me that he has with one naza car heating element, other cars are fine.

Do you, matrix owners tint your rear windows? Any unfortunate experiences with heating elements?

Pls advice on tinting.

Thank you.

Replace the tint? I don't know what kind of tint they use you're way, but I have all my cars tinted I have 1 car that I had tinted over 10 years ago and still looks like new. You need to get good quality tint and never use anything that has ammonia in it when cleaning, they should last a long time.

Tint them, they look so good on a black matrix.
I know that mine are factory fit as my matrix is SE version, but I can't see any reason for an after market tint to damage the element as it's bonded into the screen.
